A Future to Remember

As Lead Designer, I led visual direction and design execution across multiple programs and departments at Family Bridges. In this role, I oversaw project timelines, collaborated closely with leadership and program teams, and ensured all communications remained cohesive, accessible, and aligned with the organization’s mission.

Beyond hands-on design, I managed and mentored additional graphic designers and interns, providing creative direction, feedback, and quality control across print and digital deliverables. My work helped establish consistent design systems that supported long-term use across outreach, education, and community-facing initiatives.

Family Bridges is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families through education, advocacy, and direct support services. With a wide range of ongoing programs, the organization required clear, flexible design solutions that could scale while maintaining trust and clarity across audiences.

OBJECTIVE

• Create an elevated, experience-driven gala—not a traditional fundraiser

• Celebrate the organization’s history and community impact

• Establish a visual and experiential standard for future events

• Deliver a cohesive event within budget and timeline constraints

 

DIRECTION

​

The creative concept centered on growth—of people, relationships, and the organization itself. Watercolor textures paired with gold accents conveyed warmth, adaptability, and celebration, while expressive imagery reinforced Family Bridges’ people-first mission.

The event environment was designed to be interactive and immersive, encouraging connection, conversation, and shareable moments throughout the space.
